July 16, 2019
Waikīkī – Today, Royal Hawaiian Center announced the opening of Ringer Hut in the Pāʻina Lānai Food Court. The Japanese restaurant chain offers popular Japanese fare including their signature Nagasaki Champon, gyoza, noodle dishes, and donburi. Ringer Hut is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The restaurant is best known for its “Nagasaki Champon,” a tasteful noodle soup that has deep flavors by blending a variety of fresh vegetables, seafood and meat, as well as “Nagasaki Saraudon,” a crispy fried noodle topped off with thick and richly flavored seafood and vegetable sauce. Other popular dishes include “Fujisan Champon,” featuring seven kinds of vegetables, and crispy gyoza that are cooked to perfection. Diners have their choice of three flavors of Champon broth including original, shoyu and miso.
The Royal Hawaiian Center location offers the teriyaki chicken bowl, which is exclusive to the center. The location also offers other dishes such as the katsu bowls, oyakodon, curry dishes, Yakisoba, and mini-sized donburi featuring fried chicken, fried eggplant mayo, curry, fried rice, and noodles. Diners can also choose from value set meals with chicken cutlet, katsu or karaage and the Nagasaki Champon set, which includes five pieces of gyoza. A seasonal exclusive menu will also be available in the future.
“Ringer Hut has over 700 restaurants around the world and the Royal Hawaiian Center location is our second in Waikiki,” said Ringer Hut Group president, Fumio Fukuhara. “We’re proud to bring our delicious, yet healthy and reasonably priced menu to visitors and locals at this new location.”
Ringer Hut initially started as “Tonkatsu Tsutsukatsu” in Nagasaki in 1963. Since then, Ringer Hut has ventured outside of Japan and opened locations in California and Hawaii.
