New ramen restaurant debuts Tori Paitan, a chicken-based broth

Waikīkī – Royal Hawaiian Center today announced the opening of Kazan Ramen Express in the Pāʻina Lānai Food Court. The new ramen eatery specializes in Tori Paitan, a chicken-based broth made from chicken bone. Kazan Ramen Express is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

“Kazan Ramen Express is an exciting addition to the Center’s Pāʻina Lānai Food Court,” said Royal Hawaiian Center Vice President, General Manager Marleen Akau. “Debuting one of Hawaii’s first chicken-based broths, Kazan Ramen Express cooks up delicious ramen and other Japanese delicacies while delivering fast and friendly service.”

The restaurant is known for its Tori Paitan ramen, which features a thick and savory chicken bone broth as its soup base. Other specialty items include Red Kazan Ramen, its signature ramen topped with spicy ground chicken; Chicken Shoyu or Shio Ramen; Karaage Chicken; and a variety of Donburi.
