ROYAL HAWAIIAN CENTER CELEBRATES SUMMER WITH ROYAL ‘ĀINA MARKET AND HANOHANO HELUMOA CONCERT

Waikīkī – Royal Hawaiian Center is celebrating the summer by shining a spotlight on Hawaii-based designers and talented local musical artists at the Royal ‘Āina Market and Hanohano Helumoa Concert Saturday, July 6, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

 Center guests will have an opportunity to shop for unique, local made products including jewelry, apparel, handbags, women’s accessories, keiki accessories and specialty gift items from some of Hawaii’s homegrown, up-and-coming designers. They’ll also enjoy live performances from community and youth groups, hula hālau, and Hawaii’s leading musical artists.

 The pop-up market and concert will be held at The Royal Grove. Royal ‘Āina Market participants include

  • Foterra Jewelry – Photo art jewelry featuring island images designed to be more than a souvenir, it’s an emotional experience you can wear

  • Happy Hawaiʻi Jewelry – Handcrafted jewelry made with Hawaii in mind

  • i.a.m Jewelry & Creations – Handcrafted 14K gold-filled contemporary jewelry collection that ambitiously combines simplicity and uniqueness with each piece

  • Kanaʻi Kai – A collection of baby, toddler, and youth t-shirts inspired by a little beach baby from the North Shore of O‘ahu

  • Mama D’s – Organic handmade soaps, lotions, shampoos using island fruits and vegetables

  • MANAOLA – Renowned local designer Manaola Yap presents his distinctive prints and patterns inspired by Hawai‘i’s natural beauty and landscapes

The Hanohano Helumoa concert line-up features:

  •  3 p.m. – 4 p.m.          Project KULEANA

  • 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.          Ho‘opono Wong Trio

  • 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.          Sean Na‘auao

  • 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.          Nā Lei O Ka ‘Iwa Ha‘a I Ka Lani, Tatiana Tseu Fox

  • 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.          Waimānalo Sunset Band
