ROYAL HAWAIIAN CENTER EXPANDS PĀʻINA LĀNAI FOOD COURT OFFERINGS

Wicked Maine Lobster and Poke Waikiki Scheduled to Open in Spring 2021

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Dec. 21, 2019

Waikīkī – Two new seafood restaurants are set to open in the Pāʻina Lānai Food Court at Royal Hawaiian Center in Spring 2021. Poke Waikiki will open its first location, while Wicked Maine Lobster will expand beyond Southern California with its first spot in Hawai‘i.

Poke Waikiki will offer popular poke bowls featuring fresh ahi and salmon, as well as mochiko chicken, a favorite dish with kamaʻāina. Guests can also select from a selection of poke sushi burritos, a fun twist on these classic Japanese sushi rolls. Prices range from $11 to $12 poke bowls and $7 to $13 for half and full-orders of the sushi burritos.

Wicked Maine Lobster was founded by brothers Alex and Eric Howard to bring the best Maine seafood dishes to Southern California. Launched at farmers’ markets in San Diego in 2014, the brand expanded to three brick-and-mortar locations in four short years. Wicked Maine’s signature dishes include their Maine Lobster Roll, California Lobster Taco, and New England style clam chowder. Other popular menu items include Chowder Fries, a unique take on poutine with crispy cut fries smothered in clam chowder and topped bacon and cheese, and Fish n’ Chips, featuring wild caught haddock. Signature items on the Wicked Maine menu range in price from $8 for the New England Clam Chowder to $21 for the Maine Lobster Roll, while other dishes run between $14 - $17 and sides under $8.

Both restaurants will be located in the Pāʻina Lānai Food Court in Building B, Level 2 of Royal Hawaiian Center.
