ROYAL HAWAIIAN CENTER HOSTS LĀ KEIKI TO CELEBRATE CHILDREN’S DAY

Waikīkī – Royal Hawaiian Center celebrates keiki from around the world with Lā Keiki, a Children’s Day celebration on Sunday, May 5, 2019. Keiki and adults alike are invited to visit The Royal Grove and Helumoa Hale for games, children’s activities, live entertainment, and special appearances by some of today’s most iconic movie characters.

Hosted from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the celebratory event will feature balloon and airbrush art, hands-on classes for the whole family, and live entertainment. At 11:00 a.m., two special guests from Storybook Entertainment Hawaii will make an appearance for free photos in The Royal Grove.

Keiki are also invited to participate in two exciting classes. From 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Kulu Kulu’s acclaimed pastry chef Chihiro will offer a Keiki Cookie Decorating class. From 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., join the Hawaii Origami Club for a special Children’s Day Koi Flag Origami class. Both classes take place in Helumoa Hale and are limited to the first 25 guests who RSVP to aloha@festivalcos.com. Participating keiki must be accompanied by an adult.
