ROYAL HAWAIIAN CENTER BRINGS BACK MALU NIU EVENING ENTERTAINMENT

Waikīkī – Live Hawaiian entertainment returns in style to Royal Hawaiian Center with the restart of Malu Niu Evening Entertainment on weekends beginning Friday, March 19. The Malu Niu Evening Entertainment offers live music and hula performances from Hawaiʻi’s top entertainers.

“Music and dance are cornerstones of Hawaiian culture, and bring joy to our kamaʻāina and visitors alike,” said Monte McComber, Royal Hawaiian Center Cultural Director. “We’re looking forward to having the beautiful mele fill the air at The Royal Grove as we resume our Malu Evening Entertainment.”

The Malu Niu Evening Entertainment will be offered in the Royal Grove on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. starting Friday, March 19. The full list of entertainment features:

  • Fridays – Malu Productions, Inc.

  • Saturdays – The Kawika Trask Trio

  • Sundays – Pu‘uhonua

New protocols have been implemented for the safety of guests and performers. Guests must wear face coverings at all times, gather in groups of ten or less, and practice social distancing measures. Ample hand sanitizing stations are also offered throughout the Center.

Guests will receive three free hours of validating parking with any purchase from any Royal Hawaiian Center merchant or restaurant.
