ROCK-A-HULA EXTENDS RUN AT ROYAL HAWAIIAN CENTER
Event celebrates unique Hawaiian musical instrument and style
WAIKĪKĪ, HAWAI‘I (Sept. 17, 2020) – The celebrated Rock-A-Hula® production, which has called Royal Hawaiian Center home since 2011, announced today it has signed a new long-term long term lease.
“Rock-A-Hula® has attracted visitors and locals alike since we opened nearly a decade ago and we’re excited to continue our relationship with the incomparable Royal Hawaiian Center, The Festivals Companies, and their stellar management team,” said Ron Howard, president of Stars of Paradise®, operator of Rock-A-Hula®. “With our long-term lease extension, we’ll be launching several long-planned all-new entertainment products beginning in 2021, investing more than $2.5 million in improvements to the Royal Hawaiian Theater showroom and our outdoor dining facilities.”
Since its debut in 2011, Rock-A-Hula®, Waikiki’s biggest Hawaiian show has dazzled audiences with powerful performances of hula, fire knife dancing and talented artists with the largest cast of dancers and a live band in the premier 750-seat Royal Hawaiian Theater.
