Sunday, September 13 | 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Ka Lewa Lānai | Building B, Level 4

Join us September 12–13, 2026, for a free weekend celebrating Hawaiian culture, community, and Native Hawaiian enterprise.

Presented by the Native Hawaiian Hospitality Association (NaHHA), Hoʻokipa Hawaiʻi Festival returns to the Royal Hawaiian Center for a two-day, family-friendly celebration of Native Hawaiian culture and the many ways Hawaiian knowledge continues to shape Hawaiʻi.

Bringing together cultural demonstrators, Native Hawaiian entrepreneurs, community organizations, kamaʻāina, and visitors, the festival creates opportunities to engage with Hawaiian culture in meaningful and respectful ways.

Shop & Support Native Hawaiian Businesses

At the heart of the festival is the Kuhikuhi Marketplace, featuring more than 50 Native Hawaiian-owned businesses. Each participating vendor is personally vetted to ensure their products and services align with NaHHA’s mission and represent Hawaiʻi in a pono way.

The marketplace provides Native Hawaiian entrepreneurs with an opportunity to share their products, stories, and innovations while building pathways into local, visitor-industry, and retail markets.

Discover Pākōlea by NaHHA

Featured within the marketplace are participants from Pākōlea by NaHHA, a small business cohort designed specifically for early-stage Native Hawaiian entrepreneurs developing consumer packaged goods, food products, fashion, and apparel.

Pākōlea helps address barriers to visitor-industry and retail opportunities while supporting businesses whose products are culturally grounded, locally produced, sustainable, and socially responsible.

Meet the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs

The festival will also highlight Native Hawaiian youth entrepreneurs participating in Keiki Rise, a youth-focused small business incubator program. Festival attendees will have an opportunity to meet these young entrepreneurs, support their businesses, and learn more about the next generation of Native Hawaiian business leaders.

Experience Hawaiian Culture

Beyond the marketplace, Hoʻokipa Hawaiʻi Festival invites attendees to experience Hawaiian culture through  demonstrators, artists, community engagement, and on-stage  practices and performances, including hula, mele, and oli. Together, these experiences offer opportunities to deepen understanding and appreciation of Native Hawaiian culture and the living knowledge systems of Hawaiʻi.
