Getting Around

Royal Hawaiian Center is located in the heart of Waikiki, on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. It situated along Kalakaua Avenue, in front of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and Sheraton Waikiki, just minutes from Waikiki Beach. The Center is within walking distance from all the main hotels and activities in Waikiki.

Directions

Royal Hawaiian Center spans three-blocks on the beach side of Kalakaua Avenue, Waikiki’s main street. Drive down Kalakaua Avenue, and you will find Royal Hawaiian Center on the right, directly after Lewers Street. Get detailed directions.

Parking

Royal Hawaiian Center has the largest garage in the heart of Waikiki with 10 levels of parking and more than 600 stalls. The parking garage entrance is located up the ramp on the right side of Royal Hawaiian Avenue. Effective November 2, 2014, Royal Hawaiian Center’s parking validation program offers FREE validated parking for the first hour and $2 per each hour for the next two hours. A minimum purchase of $10 is required for validation. Regular rates apply thereafter. Rates subject to change without notice. SP+ standard rates are $2.00 per 20 minutes or $6.00 per hour.

Valet Parking

Royal Hawaiian Center offers Valet Parking daily from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 5 p.m. - 11 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Shoppers and diners will be able to valet park their cars for a flat fee of $9 for 3 hours. Standard rates apply thereafter. Standard rates are $6 per hour. Not eligible for RHC merchants and its employees.

Valet parking is located behind Building A, just off of Don Ho Street.

From Kalakaua Avenue, turn right onto Royal Hawaiian Avenue and take the first right after the steep ramp of the RHC garage entrance.

From Lewers Street, turn left onto Don Ho Street and our valet entrance will be on your left-hand side, before our RHC garage ramp.

Complimentary Cultural Programming

It is Royal Hawaiian Center’s vision to infuse, express and promote authentic cultural vibrancy in order to honor Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop’s Helumoa heritage and Hawaiʻi’s indigenous culture and to create an environment where everyone feels welcomed, appreciated and valued.

From Monday through Saturday, Royal Hawaiian Center provides an array of complimentary cultural classes and nightly entertainment for kamaʻāina (local residents) and malihini (visitors) alike. All classes are introductory and are designed for beginning students with little to no prior experience.  Please call Helumoa Hale Guest Services at (808) 922-2299 if you have any questions.

Tuesday through Friday, from 6 to 7 PM, we have nightly Hawaiian music entertainment. On Saturday evenings from 6 to 7 PM, we have a hula kahiko (ancient dance) performance by a local hālau hula (school of hula).

Free WiFi

Free WiFi is now available throughout the second and third floors of Royal Hawaiian Center, provided by Oceanic Time Warner Cable. The installation of high-capacity fiber optic cable allows hundreds of users to log-on and surf the web simultaneously.

How does it work? Any person on the common walkways of levels 2 and 3:

Opens their WiFi settings on their mobile device
Selects the RoyalHawaiianCenter Network
Opens their browser
Accepts the Royal Hawaiian Center landing page terms & conditions
Enjoys two (2) Free hours of WiFi per day on their mobile device

The Free RHC WiFi network is operational from 7:00am-Midnight daily. The Paid TWC WiFi network is operational 24/7 and is available if the user wishes to continue to stay connected after the two (2) Free hours. The TWC Access Pass will be available for $2.95 for one (1) hour/ $6.95 for a day/ $19.95 for a week and $49.95 for a monthly plan. The TWC Access Pass payment options include all major credit cards, JCB, BC Global, International Diner’s Club and Union Pay.
